Abstract :
With the development and wide use of the EV (electric vehicle), the subject of the loosely coupled transformer has become an important topic in the ICPT (inductively coupled power transfer) system. In this paper, the loosely coupled transformer in the ICPT system was modeled, and permeability material of the flat spiral coil structure was analyzed and optimized for the small and medium-sized electric vehicle. The optimal structure of transformer was proposed through comparing the different design of the permeability material´s structure, using the finite element analysis software Maxwell. The effectiveness and applicability of the transformer´s structure was verified through comparing the optimized with none-optimized loosely coupled transformer´s transmission efficiency, using Simplorer with Maxwell´s joint simulation.
