Abstract
In using the explicit finite difference method to solve Maxwell´s equations, time step is limited by the Courant Friedrichs-Lewy (CFL) condition. In this paper, based on the eigen analysis, we propose the unconditionally stable solutions to electromagnetic problems with the finite-differenced wave equation. Numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
