Abstract :
Firstly, we designed a dual-polarized microstrip antenna with high isolation between two ports, then, a dual-polarized conformal phased array on cylindrical with twelve elements is constructed, by using direct digital frequency synthesis (DDS) technology, transmitted beam can be formed digitally, besides, the full-polarization of the array can be controlled accurately and immediately. At last, based on the measured element patterns, the efficiency of the synthesis algorithm for radiation patterns is demonstrated by experiments. It has also been proved that, the dual-polarized array performs better in the inhibition of cross-polarization components than the single-polarization array.
