Abstract
The characterization of antenna phase center stability is presented. The antenna structural parameters that influence phase center stability of circularly polarized patch antennas are discussed by using electromagnetic simulation software (CST Microwave Studio). Based on the results, a circularly polarized patch antenna with high phase center stability is fabricated for GPS L1 frequency application. The measured results show that its PCS is less than 1mm.
