  • Abstract
In this paper, a Ku-band SIW Filter-Antenna with 45 degrees-inclined linear polarization for array application is presented. The compact filter integrated with the slot antenna is designed through a synthesis technology. And the trapezoidal SIW-Microstrip transition links the filter-antenna and the feeding connector. The S-shape filter is a compact structure and it is easier to form an array. The SIW slot antenna has a +45 degrees linear polarization. In this design, the method of the integration technology is used, therefore the loss of transition between the antenna and filter is ignorable. Furthermore, a 1×8-antenna array is designed, manufactured and measured. From the measured results, the bandwidth is about 500MHz and the peak gain is 7.33dBi. The measured results closely agree with the simulation ones.
