Abstract
Filter transform technique from a bandpass filter to bandstop filter is presented. By introducing the slits between the slots, original bandpass characteristics of the filter consisting of slots is changed to bandstop characteristics. Additional series-connected capacitance due to the slits plays a key role in the present filter transform. Electromagnetic simulation is carried out to compare the filter characteristics of the slot filters with and without slits.
