  • Abstract
Using communication technologies, faster and better diagnosis and treatment methods of medical care are improved. Faster communications between doctors and patients are provided due to the improving technologies named telemedicine. In this study, we developed a novel method to diagnose traumatized spleen in the presence of laceration, contusion, active bleeding or hematoma via abdominal trauma using tablet based telemedicine. Clinicians were informed via email by diagnosing the pathological results which belong to 10 patients. Through the faster diagnosis, starting for treatment without time consuming will decrease mortality and morbidity of emergency patients.
