Abstract
EEG based brain computer interface (BCI) systems are preferred, because It has pratical application by users and has a good response. Steady state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) can be used for BCI systems. In this study we investigated the best duty cycle ratio of ideal stimuli. In the experiment, flicker had 10 Hz frequency on the LCD. This flicker got 20%, 40%, 50%, 60% and 80% duty cycle ratio during the experiment. Participants gazed to flicker 5 second for each condition. EEG signals was filtered in preprocessing session after that Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) method was applied on datas. According to the CCA, the best average accuracy and Information transfer rate (ITR) were 91.18% and 27.86 bpm respectively.
