Abstract
Diffusion MRI technique is widely used to investigate structural connectivity of the brain. In this study, a novel method to calculate the shortest paths connectivity is proposed and evaluated on a diffusion phantom. The results demonstrate a high sensitivity to the chosen local connectivity measure. Beside, parallel structure and ability to estimate connectivities for multiple seeds simultaneously are the advantages of the proposed method.
