Abstract
A communication system has a great demand for increasing the high broadband limit and to achieve a much better network coverage. Radio over Fiber holds a great potential to yield a better efficiency for the present wireless broadband communication systems. Radio over fiber cater to an untethered access to the systems for applications like low line losses, wide coverage area and capacity. A model has been proposed for RoF with the integration of Fiber Bragg Grating incorporating Differential Phase Shift Keying (DPSK) and Continuous Phase Frequency Shift Keying (CPFSK). Finally the investigation is carried out based on the parameters such as Minimum BER, Q Factor and Eye opening diagram etc. and also the variations in power, optical gain and optical fiber length are observed and analyzed graphically using the OptiSystem software. In the proposed model, it is seen that CPFSK modulation technique provides the best value for Min BER and Q factor for Full Duplex RoF using Fiber Bragg Grating.
