Abstract
In this paper, the Bacteria Foraging Optimization (BFO) technique to solve multi-objective multicast routing problem is presented. The objective of our work is to optimize the real world objectives such as cost, maximum end-to-end delay, delay variation, average delay and link utilization simultaneously. The proposed work uses multi-objective BFO (MOBFO) to explore the search space effectively to generate more non-dominated solutions in the Pareto Front. The simulations have been carried out on a large number of randomly generated networks. The experimental outcome shows that the proposed algorithm carry outs well than that of the existing multiobjective evolutionary algorithms with reference of generating the non dominated solutions.
