Rectangular Labeling of Objects - a novice method for image quality enhancement

Ever since the advent of computers, Image Enhancement is an area of chief concern which primarily focuses to process the image in such a way that the resultant image is better than the original one. Image enhancement is done to get a clear view of image and removes the unnecessary errors if any in the image. This paper proposes a new approach called Rectangular Labeling of Objects for image reinforcement and also compares it with popular image enhancement methods such as Hough transform, trace boundaries, etc. All these operations are done with the help of Image processing toolbox through Matlab.
