Abstract :
A novel frequency reconfigurable microstrip patch antenna with circular slot is presented in this paper. In the predictable design, there is a two diode are introduced with circular slot on the patch to produces four reconfigurable different frequency bands at 19.49 GHz, 19.56 GHz, 19.62 GHz and 20.27 GHz, respectively. The antenna is designed on FR-4 substrate with permittivity and thickness 4.1, 1.5mm respectively. The proposed antenna simulated using commercial computer simulation technology microwave studio. The simulated return loss for all the bands are less than -10 dB at different frequencies.
