  • Abstract
This paper presents how to detect non-linear load current and source voltage of an uncontrolled bridge rectifier with resistive load, with the help of current and voltage transformers. Further these voltages and currents are conditioned with signal conditioning circuit to interface with DSP TMS320F2812. The DSP will perform the digital scaling and "the instantaneous reactive power theory" to separate instantaneous active and reactive powers. In this paper simulation as well as hardware prototype results are being presented.
