Abstract :
A 359fs erbium-doped fiber laser using topological insulator Bi2Se3/Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) composite film as a saturable absorber was demonstrated. When changing the length of the erbium-doped fiber, a mode-locking pulse ranging from 1557nm to 1600nm could be generated.
