The exchange of data in the intercity bus traffic

Through the exchange of traffic data between the bus operators can be achieved by effective public bus transport, accessible information and ultimately better service for customers (passengers). A large number of passenger information systems for public passenger transport exists at the level of individual bus operators, and their mutual interoperability and exchange of data is very limited, with the exception of basic data. In paper, we also investigate the exchange of information between operators in inter-city bus transport in both Croatia and EU member states, and it is proposed as an alternative to sustainable interoperability information be included in the European passenger information system (EPIS) and data exchange.
