Abstract :
In this paper, the outage probability of a clustered cooperative decode-and-forward wireless networks is investigated, subject to Rayleigh fading and Gamma shadowing. Outage probability expression is derived when the fusion centre selects the stronger received transmission out of the maximal ratio combined relayed packets and (if any) repeated packets from the originating node. The effects of average signal-to-noise ratio values, network dimension, packet length as well as shadowing spread is discussed.
