Application of WSN in railway intelligent transportation sysem (RITS)

Automation of railway management and application of advanced information and communication technologies are vital for the further development of rail transport and railway system as a whole. This paper presents how the WSN implemented for the purpose of monitoring the situation for Infrastructure and resources on the railways, but a proposition which refers to the possibility of using anti-fire sensors and motion sensors on the railways of Serbia.
