Abstract :
This work addresses the issue of coexistence among different technologies into the 2.4 GHz Industrial Scientific and Medical (ISM) band. A low-cost device is prototyped in order to derive multi-standard Radio Environmental Maps (REM) useful for fast deployment of technologies in environments affected by interference. In particular, the device creates coverage maps, allowing to identify the best channel to be used by a given technology. Some examples of experimental results are presented to demonstrate the utility of the developed prototype.
