Abstract :
This paper represents a system which combines two different types of contents on hybrid set top box (STB) device: DVB data and data from Internet server. Hybrid STB is based on Android operating system and it is equipped with support for playback of DVB and IP (using HLS protocol) services. For services received from DVB data flow, EPG data is replaced with EPG data from the Internet server.
