Abstract
This paper analyzes the chaotic dynamical characteristics of Chua´s oscillator. In the oscillator, a memristor and a negative conductance are substituted for the Chua´s diode. The memristor is a magnetron which having smooth curve. Then the chaotic dynamics equations of the oscillator are obtained which derived from the Chua´s oscillator circuit, and the dynamic characteristics are analyzed: phase diagrams, Poincare maps, Lyapunov exponent and spectrum. In addition, based on passive control theory, the passive controller is projected to fulfilled the control of Chua´s oscillator circuit for achieving asymptotic stability to it´s stable state. Finally, simulation figures verified the designed controller is effective.
