Abstract :
The electric vehicle has been a global trend in the vehicle industry under the rapid development of the smart grid. One of the most important factors that restricts the development of the electric vehicle is the EV battery´ management for its high replacement cost. This paper proposes a geometric-process-based battery management model with the consideration of the battery´s deterioration after repairing, the availability demand and the cost minimization. By applying the geometric-process to the operation time and repair time in the whole life of the battery, and adopting the Monte Carlo method to simulation, the result denotes its consistency and rationality and makes a verification on the effective management of the battery.
