Abstract
≥10°C Accumulated temperature, Solar radiation, Photosynthetically active radiation, and Light and temperature production potential of spring maize were calculated using 30 years the average daily observation data from 1981-2010, using 582 weather stations showing spring maize and basing on solar radiation equation and AEZ model. Spatial analysis was carried out on the site results in the ArcGIS platform, and finally, spring maize light temperature indexes contour maps and light temperature production potential classification figure were produced. Mapping results show that in spring maize planting areas, there is a positive correlation between light and temperature production potential and solar radiation (photosynthetically active radiation), and there are no completely positive correlations or entirely negative correlations. This study could provide support for Chinese spring maize production decision.
