Abstract
This paper shows the development of a standard system for calibrating power harmonic analyzers. The system comprises voltage and current generators which can reproduce arbitrary waveforms, and a power standard meter. This last equipment measures rms current and voltage values, harmonic content, active, reactive and apparent power and power factor. It can be calibrated against primary standards of voltage and resistance, assuring calibration traceability for all the system. It is used as National Standard to support the calibration of power quality meters.
