Abstract
Under standard test conditions (STC) the photovoltaic cells delivers a certain quantity of energy related with the efficiency of the manufacturing technologies, however the operating conditions from a specific place are quite different from STC. This work analyses the amount of energy generated from monocrystalline, polycrystalline and amorphous silicon solar panels under temperature and irradiance conditions of the city of Pasto. This data was collected in the year 2014 using a power acquisition system, DAVIS-vantage Pro2 and Esmera meteorological station, MySQL database and MATLAB. As result this paper presents the statistical analyses and a model that predicts the possible behaviour of the energy generated by each one of the technologies concerning the temperature and irradiance conditions of the city.
