Abstract :
Electro hydraulic servo position control systems (EHSPCS) are widely used in many main industrial fields, including biomedical instruments, calibration center, aerospace, metallurgy, transportation, machine, marine technology, modern scientific experimental device and missile control. Compared with other kinds of equipment, they have many noticeable benefits, such as developing a relatively small device with considerable amount of torque, high precision and strength, respond speed and force-to-weight ratio. These systems are characterized by uncertainties, internal and external disruptions and highly nonlinear during operation. Several studies have been addressed the Servo Position System; however, only a few control schemes explicitly deal with the disturbance and uncertain effects along with parameter variations. PID regulator has been used to balance for the internal and external disturbances in the control of EHS position system. However, real-time implementations issues limit the use of these techniques. In this paper Fussy-PID controller for an EHS position control system will be presented which is robust to position accuracy and precision while achieving servo position control system. It is therefore necessary to evaluate static and dynamic performance of the system by making modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink software to analyses of servo position control. The method uses to model mathematical equations that describe each subsystem; it can begin building a block diagram for the model in Simulink. Build the model for each of subcomponents separately. Then each subcomponent integrates them into a complete modeling of the system. Because of the existing PID controller does not perform well when applied to electro-hydraulic servo position system (EHSPS). Then proposed Fuzzy-PID controller overcomes the limitations by taking the advantage of both PID and Fuzzy. Fuzzy controller is used to control systems when the output value of system far away from the target value. PID controller is applied when the output value is near the desired value. Building the Simulink block diagram simulate and analyze the results in Matlab/Simulink. Simulation outcomes showed the Fuzzy-PID controller system has well in increase the working effectiveness parameters such as fast response time, settling time, overshoot, high precision control, reliability and stability of the system.
