Abstract
This paper analyzed the characteristics of eddy current power absorber in chassis dynamometer, and then established a control model. The loading mode of eddy current power absorber in the acceleration condition was determined, and it based on the principle of load torque derivative smoothing. The simulation of vehicles´ ASM exhaust emission detection in steady-state conditions is studied. In this paper ASM was used to represent Acceleration Simulation Mode. This study is for ASM5025 and ASM2540 working conditions. This study applied Fuzzy PID control method. PID was used to represent proportional-integral-derivative. Finally, an ASM emission detection system was built in order to conduct real vehicle experiments. The experimental data show that the system has high dynamic response capability and control accuracy.
