Abstract :
This note has two purposes. One is to give a new weight vector W(n)=(w1(n),w2(n),...,wn(n))T for ordered weighted averaging aggregation. This weight vector possesses a peculiar feature: for each i, the weight wi tends to 0 whenever n tends to ∞, but orness(W) tends to 1. The other is to give a new model, called the modified minimal variance model, to determine OWA weights.
