Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of image processing by exploiting the structural properties of Fornasini-Marchesini second (FM-II) model is presented, and introducing some fancy methods, a new state-space realization procedure for 3-D system about image processing technology, which is based on a new elementary operation approach (EOA) for N-dimensional (N-D) system realization of single-input and single-output (SISO) in FM-II local state-space model. Specifically, the N-D realization problem of image processing can be reduced by the elementary operation approach of giving a certain N-D transfer matrix, then it can generate a FM-II model realization with lower order than the existing methods and can be easily implemented by a computer program. Non-trivial example of 3-D image processing will be given to illustrate some details and as well as the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
