Abstract :
The electromagnetic launch system is an advanced complex system, which is developed by use of the advantages of the pulse power technology and advanced control technology. To overcome the bottle-neck in the improvement of launching efficiency, this paper has proposed a novel model and analyzed some factors which influence the system efficiency. Simulations and experiments show that increasing the inductance gradient is the most important way to enhance the launching efficiency, which will contribute to future system development.
