Abstract :
AODV protocol, as one of relatively mature protocols, is now applied to the Ad Hoc network. However, there are still many flaws of its own, such as routing overload and large network delay. By analyzing the relations between ART (Active Route Timeout) of default parameters and other parameters of AODV protocol, membership function of ART has been found with control packets sending, path length and energy of mobile terminal, and then the method has been presented of which one fuzzy controller to control the ART, which makes its value change as the network parameters change. Simulations have been carried out through the stimulation tool called OMNET++4.1, and shown that AODV routing protocol presented has a better performance on routing overhead and network delay than traditional AODV.
