Abstract :
DC microgrids are gaining high momentum under the smart grid environment The DC microgrid contains a large number of power electronic devices. These tightly regulated closed-loop converters may cause stability problem of bus voltage when used as a load since they trend to draw constant power and exhibit negative incremental resistance. In this paper, a novel nonlinear feedback technique, which is called loop counteraction, is introduced. This technique counteracts the destabilizing effect of the constant power loads and insures the stability of DC microgrid by adding the nonlinear feedback loops to the source converters. The feasibility and effectiveness of this method are verified by the simulation results.
