Abstract :
This paper mainly studies on how to evaluate and work out the demand response from the perspective of customers´ to whom is most beneficial. The proposed approaches are using energy consumption simulator to obtain “accurate” residential energy consumption, acquiring demand response strategy through conventional optimization and evaluating with the help of MATLAB simulation platform. The paper adds the judgment of using strategies about smart appliances in a residential house. Furthermore, it investigates and compares the characteristic of different thermal models. Case studies are conducted by considering the influence of the house´s location, and environment on energy consumption.
