Abstract :
Application of the underwater target positioning system is widely used, so the underwater target passive location technology research has also become a hotspot. The underwater target passive location technology involves computer technology, digital signal processing technology, microelectronic technology and array technology and so on. This paper develops an intensive research on the related technologies. Firstly, the cross symmetric matrix model with four hydrophones is established, then localization equation is derived and the position error is analyzed. Secondly, the delay estimation theory is deeply researched, so a method is proposed to solve the two signal delay by using the generalized cross correlation and three point interpolation method, and the delay precision is analyzed in great detail. Finally, the underwater target position system has been realized with above technology, and the underwater target position system is validated by test. The experiment result proves that the system has very good effect of passive location.
