Abstract
This paper is concerned with the dissipative control for model-based networked control systems (NCSs) under an event-triggered transmission scheme. An event-triggered communication scheme is introduced to determine the sampling instants and the sampled-data to be transmitted by judging whether the relative errors between sampled plant states and between sampled estimate states surpass two thresholds simultaneously. Taking the event-triggered communication scheme, the impulsive behavior of the control update in the model and network-induced delays into account, the resulting NCS is modeled as a threshold-error-dependent augmented impulsive system with an interval time-varying delay. For the impulsive system, a strictly (Q0, S0, R0)-dissipative performance criterion and a delay-dependent criterion for controller design are achieved in terms of linear matrix inequalities by employing a discontinuous Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. The effectiveness of the proposed criteria is validated through a numerical example.
