Abstract :
In this paper, a high speed channel insertion loss estimation method for meshed ground is proposed. A 2.5D EM (Electromagnetic) tool spends less time to do simulation. But, it cannot analyze meshed ground structure. By converting meshed ground into solid ground, an insertion loss can be obtained from a 2.5D simulator. And, the simulation results of 2.5D EM tool were compared with 3D EM simulator results. In addition, the proposed method was applied to real meshed ground structure of mobile phone. Under the limited frequency, this method can be used for fast insertion loss simulation.
