Abstract :
This paper introduces a new signal processing method for the detection signal of pipeline coating. There are. Aiming at peeling, holes and others defects in the oil and gas pipeline coating, this paper uses the SH guided wave transducer of separation type of the transmitter and receiver to detect these defects. The energy spectrum is obtained by the HHT method, and there are comparative analysis between the dispersion characteristics of the theoretical analysis and energy spectrum by simulation calculation. Analysis results show that, it is feasible to detect the bonding state of the coating on the surface of the steel plate with the dispersion property of SH modes. Many of IMF components have a more obvious fluctuation characteristic in the detection signal of the pipeline coating unit based on HHT, and it is sensitive to the information of the frequency domain. The energy spectrum distribution in the HHT is reflected in the pipeline coating. And therefore r the method is effective in the detection and identification of the stripping of the pipeline coating.
