Abstract :
Meteorological disaster is one of the major natural disasters in the world, the hail is one of the types of meteorological disasters, the affected area is broad, big loss rate and other characteristics, as the current research hot spot. This paper, by using weather radar reflectivity echo intensity of the image, to extract the characteristics of the hail cloud image data, Analysis of hail cloud images and the hail cloud image characteristics of the differences between data, Using the first-order statistics measure as a distance criterion variables, tectonic discriminant model. To take advantage of this model for samples, known hail cloud recognition rate is 90%, and discriminant has low error rate. The results show that the use of weather radar reflectivity echo intensity of the image of the first-order statistics measure combined with distance discriminant constructs discriminant model of hail cloud, has a good effect.
