Abstract
Based on the analysis of the bus system dynamics, the five degrees of freedom bus system dynamics equation has been established, using vehicle speed and front wheel angle as input, and sideslip angle, yaw rate, the sprung mass roll angle, the sprung mass roll angular speed, lateral load transfer capacity front axle and rear lateral load transfer capacity as output. According to the linear control theory, the design of LQR control system has been optimized. The established bus active roll control simulation model and the root locus analysis can help to determine the vehicle stability system. The buses roll stability control can be achieved by simulation.
