Study on Non-uniform Bed Load Random Motion

In natural river sediment particles movement is of a great deal of randomness, and which is always the focus of the scholars at home and abroad, and is also the research difficulty. The non-uniform sediment flume experiment over rough bed was conducted in this study, the movement process of the non-uniform bed load particles over rough bed was observed with the camera, the parameters such as the motion distance, motion velocity and motion/rest time of bed load particles in the observation period were obtained and analyzed, finally the random motion of bed load particles was studied.
