Abstract :
The control strategy of DC-link voltage is one of the key techniques of shunt active power filter (SAPF). The DC-link voltage has an effect on reactive power compensation ability and power loss of SAPF. Based on the relationship between real-time load reactive power and DC-link voltage, an optimal DC-link voltage control strategy is proposed in the paper. The optimal DC-link voltage will maintain at a minimum value, to decrease power loss and switching noise. Besides, the optimal DC-link voltage reference will be varied subsequently, when load changes. Simulation and experiment results validate the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
