Abstract :
The wireless power transfer characteristics of system architectures with single transmitter and multiple receiver coils are investigated. The transferred power and energy efficiency are presented through derivations of equations based on equivalent circuit model, which is validated against simulation results using Matlab SIMULINK and Ansoft Maxwell. The mutual coupling between receivers significantly affects the system resonant frequency and transmission performance, the power distribution between multiple receiver coils are addressed.
