Abstract :
Complementary and modular linear flux-switching permanent magnet (MLFSPM) motor with magnets and armature windings in the short primary mover is a viable candidate in long stator application because of its faster dynamic performance and lower cost. In this paper a sensorless control strategy of MLFSPM motor based on model reference adaptive system (MRAS) combined with space vector modulation technique (SVPWM) is proposed. The effectiveness of the control strategy is validated by the simulation and experiments.
