Abstract :
In this paper, a sensorless drive of switched reluctance motor without predefined parameters is proposed to simplify the application of SRM. To avoid additional cost and unreliability caused by sensor device, sensorless control technology of SRM has attracted increasing attentions and obtains considerable development over recent years. The main idea behind most existing sensorless control strategy is extract the position information from electromagnetic status of the SRM through proper modeling and calculation, which usually demands accurate inherent electromagnetic parameters of SRM. The strategy proposed in this paper realizes the SRM drive function only with electric parameters which are easy to measure, such as rotor resistance, rated voltage and rated current. Pulse injection method is the essential theories of this design. The experiment result verifies this strategy to be a practical research direction in the application with no need for high precision.
