Abstract :
A novel sensorless control method of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) based on crossing point of transformer electromotive force (EMF) and motional back electromotive force (BEMF) is proposed in this paper. The crossing point position can be derivate from inductance mode, and it is regarded as a reference point to estimate rotor position. The rotor position can be estimated by detection of the special positions for each electrical cycle. The experimental results show that this method requires no additional hardware and no complex computation or memory storage.
