  • Abstract
    This paper proposes cold heading and piecing which is quite complicated process. The study is based on defor7mation simulation and compared the parameters of production processes to factory. DEFORM is used to run the simulation in the case of piecing and heading stainless steel. Effective simulation result is founded by 720th stokes. The maximum load which occurs on the 512nd stoke is 8.22×105 N. The information is used for die and punch design. The 6 punch and 6 die design is effectively founded. The factory production process is successfully tested.
