Abstract
In three Internet software companies, 40 people were interviewed using behavioral event interviews (BEI). To establish a discriminative competency model for Java software engineers, companies need innovation and strong emphasis on interpersonal communication. Customer service orientation and innovation will become the core of Internet software companies, a senior software development engineer competency. This model will help enterprises to standardize the employment needs of Internet software to reconstruct the employment strategy by building a model of talent to build organizational capacity in the business of the employer, selection, training and development, and even provide a theoretical basis for performance assessment, evaluation methods and tools.
