Abstract
When improving the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the RF system, it is common to design the space layout of antennas so as to increase the isolation, but which is difficult when the space is quite limited. This work, with the Theory of Characteristic Modes used, effectively restrains the non-working modes of the antenna by making slots, thus to increase the isolation by 6~10dB. This new method is more reasonable for limited space compared with antennas layout designing.
