Abstract :
In this research, a demonstration of a situation awareness system is presented. A real case of the disturbance of the electricity network was illustrated with the demonstration. The state of the remote controlled switches was simulated based on the model of the mobile network coverage and compared with the real state information from the online remote field service provider. The case study confirmed that there are interdependencies between both networks. The main contribution of this research is a new method to improve the disturbance management of electricity and mobile networks and to improve the resilience of the society in disturbances by a combined situation awareness system.
