Millimetre-wave and terahertz smart antennas for future wireless systems

This paper presents one fully integrated active folded reflectarray with wide-angle beam steering capabilities and one beam-switching array-fed reflector antenna for future wireless communications at millimetre-wave frequencies. Design concept of the antenna elements and arrays in each case are explained with simulation and experimental results.
